800 YEARS OF HISTORY IN A SINGLE CORNISH ORCHARD.
Haye Farm Cider is a small family-run business that is probably the oldest maker of traditional cider in the world, with cider having been produced on the farm since the 13th Century using apples from its orchard. Haye Farm itself nestles in stunning rural Cornwall countryside midway between the coast at Polruan and Fowey. The farm enjoys the most wonderful views overlooking the beautiful and unspoiled River Fowey and Penpoll Creek. Both the River and Creek are excellent havens for a wide range of birds and wildlife such as herons, kingfishers, buzzards, swans, and egrets.

This is our first cider since our 2023 relaunch following our showcase on Rick Stein’s Cornwall. Bottled in 330ml bottles at 5.2% ABV. 100% of the apples used in this cider were grown and harvested from Haye Farm, and fermented on site.

Medium sweetness, deliciously bubbly, bursting with all manner of apples. Refreshing, slightly delicate, with undertones of straw. Proper farm-style cider.

Haye ho!
Further to our update earlier in the year, we are delighted to update, and with Bonfire Night just around the corner, to make a bit of noise about our cider feels entirely appropriate! As you can imagine, it was a quality problem receiving a lot of interest in Haye Farm Cider following Rick Stein’s brilliant flag waving.
Of course, we were hoping to have cider before now but as traditional cider makers, we can’t just turn on the cider tap at will. However, the good news is that since the wonderful exposure on Rick Stein, we are pleased to report that we have now bottled our 2022 vintage and have started stocking local shops on the farm. This will grow but initially, we are delighted to be in the following:

We are also looking to start welcoming visitors back to Haye although by appointment in the early days, so please email/call to arrange if of interest. Certainly, we would love to see you - we're just conscious that as farmers we need to manage our availability.
